VITAL NURSE STAFFING PURCHASES C.O.R.E. RESPIRATORY / rtNOW
Michigan-based nursing staffing company purchases Minnesota-based specialty respiratory therapy staffing, telehealth, and education company.
C.O.R.E. Respiratory Services, LLC – rtNOW d/b/a announced today the sale of the company to Michigan-based Vital Nurse Staffing, LLC. With this acquisition Vital Nurse Staffing positions itself to expand services in MN, WI, MI and beyond for nursing, respiratory therapy, and respiratory telehealth. Both companies bring a commitment to excellence in healthcare staffing. This purchase will create a stronger company that adds diversification of services, while maintaining a culture of excellence.
“We are extremely pleased to be expanding our operations into Minnesota and Wisconsin with C.O.R.E. Respiratory and rtNOW,” said Chuck Stadler, President/CEO of Vital Nurse Staffing. “Randy, Curt, Patricia, and their team have done an amazing job maintaining a very high level of quality and professionalism in the healthcare staffing industry. The integrity of C.O.R.E. Respiratory’s standards is in line with Vital Nurse Staffing’s reputation for quality. We will continue the growth and synergy into the northern Midwest markets with all phases of healthcare staffing.”
Charles is particularly excited about the telehealth service rtNOW.
“rtNOW is probably one of the most exciting aspects of C.O.R.E. in that we can expand and grow the telehealth division. rtNOW is a specialized service offering respiratory therapy coverage to rural hospitals and numerous other healthcare organizations. rtNOW will allow these organizations access to a live registered RT with 24/7 coverage to assist the other members of the healthcare team.”
C.O.R.E. owners Curt Merriman and Patricia Johnson will be continuing to work for Vital Nurse Staffing, while owner Randy Kuzel begins a well deserved retirement.
“This will be an exciting time to use the synergistic attributes of highly professional staff in both organizations, and the reputation of excellence and innovation to expand our market shares in both respiratory and nursing,” said Curt Merriman, former C.O.R.E. Respiratory Services, VP of Sales & Marketing who is now Chief Sales Officer with the new company. “The future of healthcare has many challenges. Growing the business model of rtNOW, a telehealth service providing 24/7 access to licensed professional respiratory therapists, will improve the care and delivery of respiratory support at the point of care in rural America.”
Vital Nursing will also do business as d/b/a, CORE Staffing, LLC.
